I’m a writer, editor and translator, and the author of Our Magic Hour and Pulse Points—both available through Text Publishing.
In 2017 and 2018, I was named a Sydney Morning Herald Young Novelist of the Year. Pulse Points was awarded the 2018 Readings Prize for New Australian Fiction and the Queensland Literary Award for short fiction.
My writing has appeared in a range of publications, including The Saturday Paper, Australian Book Review, The Lifted Brow, Literary Hub, The Big Issue, The Stinging Fly (Ireland) and Blue Mesa Review (New Mexico).
I've lectured and taught creative writing workshops with students of various ages in both metropolitan and regional areas. Since 2017, I have facilitated the Toolkits: Fiction program with Express Media.
I am a MacDowell Colony fellow, and have also undertaken residencies at Banff Centre for the Arts, Vermont Studio Center and Can Serrat.
